Reviews:
“Some of the violence borders on unsavory, and is a bit more than audiences may be accustomed to in a DC animated film. While many of the major players get their opportunity to shine one last time, others are lost in the shuffle. For fans for the long-running franchise, this is a must-watch to close out the overarching story; for those looking for a lighter, more fun diversion, this may not be it.” CBR.com
” …Justice League Dark: Apokolips War’s lack of specificity to the first half of its title as well as its “what if?” nature make for middling entertainment. As an exclamation point sending a beloved series into the sunset, the film fares decidedly better. Hopefully, viewers understand that distinction going into the film so they can come out appreciating it as the latter instead of being flummoxed by the former.” Culture Crypt
“Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is the perfect bookend to the stories which began back in 2014’s Justice League: War. Poignant, emotional and action-packed to the final moment it’s the perfect send off to this era of DC DTV filmmaking.” Get Your Comic On
“Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is impressive in both size and scope; rounding off the DC Animated Movie shared universe with a bittersweet conclusion. Packed full of team ups, nods to DC lore and genuinely epic moments, longtime fans of the universe will undoubtedly revel in this film.” We Have a Hulk
