‘Something big is about to happen’

Reel Monsters is a 2022 American fantasy film about four teens who manage to shoot some footage of a Bigfoot creature.

Directed and co-produced by Mark Polonia from a screenplay written by John Oak Dalton based on a story co-written with Paige Kay Davis and Michael Raso. Also produced by Henrique Couto and Paige Kay Davis. Executive produced by Michael Raso.

The Polonia Brothers Entertainment-Pop Cinema co-production stars Dawson Hilfiger, Nicholas Olson, Sophie Guss, Lucien Limberg, Grace Hines, Hannah Guss, James Kelly, Matt Bruzzio and James Carolus.

“Polonia does a swell job balancing the sense of danger and fun, so Reel Monsters really can be enjoyed by viewers of any age. While some of the acting isn’t the best, given the limited resources and most of the cast’s age, that is hardly a huge deal. Plus, the thing is entertaining and engaging, flaws and all.” 7.5/10 Film Threat

“As an adventure film for kids, it did a good enough job of holding my attention, better than some of Polonia’s films for adults, actually. Granted it’s fairly obvious that the film’s car chase was shot at about 40 mph rather than high speed, but if you’ve seen any of Mark Polonia’s films you know that’s to be expected.” 3/5 Voices from the Balcony
