Black Adam is a 2022 American fantasy action film about the titular anti-hero and a spin-off from Shazam! (2019). It is the eleventh film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (The Shallows; Orphan; House of Wax) from a screenplay written by Adam Sztykiel (Scoob!; Rampage), based on the comic books by C.C. Beck and Otto Binder. Produced by Beau Flynn and Hiram Garcia.
The movie stars Dwayne Johnson as Teth-Adam / Black Adam alongside Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Sarah Shahi, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan.
Dwayne Johnson recently took to Instagram to confirm that reshoots – a standard practice for big-budget effects-heavy movies – were underway.

And I give you my word: no one will ever stop me again.”
