Shadow Master is an action-horror fan’s paradise, and a martial art fanatic’s dream come true […] The story admittedly takes a minute to get the table set, but Shadow Master thrills as an eerie, supernatural horror movie, and a Hong Kong action movie made in the states.” 8 out of 10, Kung-Fu Kingdom

“The fight scenes are a blast, and while some of the effects suffer a bit, as I mentioned, the rest of the film can carry the pure chaos alone. If you’re up for the ultimate underdog story with everything possible thrown at you, this is the film for you. The choreography (while over-the-top at times) in the movie is enough of a blast that it’s worth the watch .” 2.5 out of 5, Overly Honest Movie Reviews

“If you’re looking for a horror film, Shadow Master will probably disappoint you. The film’s various supernatural elements aren’t really frightening and they don’t amount to much […] If you avoid paying too much attention to the details and enjoy the fights, or maybe take some edibles and pay no attention to the details, it’s an OK way to kill ninety minutes.” 3 out of 5, Voices from the Balcony

“The flashback fighting scenes do have blurry edges for effect but I thought that took away from the quality, we also have to watch all fight scenes in the dark which is understandable but a shame. Anyway, as previously mentioned, if you like martial arts movies then Shadow Master will need to feature high up on your watchlist over the next few days and weeks.” Which Film
