Reviews:
“The discrepancies were distracting, and the plot was super predictable. The brutality and gore were missing, and the disregard for forensic science and police investigations to prove or disprove crimes was maddening as well. This film’s saving grace was its cinematography and score, but even the soundtrack got a little silly towards the end…” Cryptic Rock

“Eventually the plot twists and reveals you’re anticipating are introduced, but they don’t have any really exciting set pieces or chases to hold them together inside the flimsy narrative. It’s desperately in need of some personality or even just some good old cheesiness to be injected to the proceedings, but it’s consistently bland and tedious.” Horror Cult Films

Fox Trap is a run of the mill-masked-stalker-in-the-house film with only a small amount of suspense and no truly memorable horror moments. There is nothing to distinguish it from the myriad of other horror movies being released, or as a loving salute to slashers past.” The Movie Waffler

“A throwback to the classic 80s slasher film, Fox Trap succeeds in replicating the feel of the genre in a modern setting. Mixing some traditional elements of the slasher, with some creative twists, it keeps you guessing up to the climactic conclusion.” Nerdly

Fox Trap runs maybe 10-15 minutes too long and the identity of the killer isn’t much of a challenge to guess, but there still are plenty of nice developments as we go, from Frankie and Anna discovering a room with the fiend’s plans neatly laid out, a good chase scene, and even a mercy killing.” Vegan Voorhees
