‘What would you become to survive?’
Another Day to Live Through is a 2023 horror film about a feisty young woman and a bitter old soldier who are trapped in a cycle of violence in an isolated cabin where causality and identity are fractured. Who will win? And what does winning look like?

Written and directed by Peter Simmons, making his feature directorial debut (shorts; Carcera; Smile; Red).

The Cat & Dog Productions movie stars Lene Kqiku, Timo Torikka and Vincent Willestrand.

“This movie does an excellent job and keeping us wondering about what will happen next. Even when we think we know the direction, it goes in a different one. However, the odd style can see things slowing up too much, leaving us in a position where not everything clicks as well as it could.” ★★★ Movie Reviews 101

“It makes for hard viewing; the pacing is deliberately slow, and it proved difficult to engage with the characters and what unfolds before them onscreen. The acting is spot on but I found the pacing too laboured to draw me in and I was left feeling both unsatisfied and unmoved […] One for art-house horror enthusiasts only.” 5 out of 10, My Bloody Reviews

“A sprinkle of suspense here and a dash more character deep dive there would elevate the narrative to the next level. But don’t let these critiques deter you. The portrayal of raw, gut-wrenching terror juxtaposed with moments of poignant reflection truly showcases cinema’s power to mirror the myriad shades of human existence.” ★★★ Overly Honest Movie Reviews
