Rise of the Footsoldier: Vengeance is a 2023 crime thriller about a gangster on a violent rampage. The movie is the latest entry in the franchise that began with Rise of the Footsoldier (2007) and continued with Rise of the Footsoldier: Part II (2015), Rise of the Footsoldier 3 (2017) and Rise of the Footsoldier: Origins (2021).
Directed by Nick Nevern (Rise of the Footsoldier: Origins) from a screenplay written by Andrew Loveday and Jason Maza.
The production stars Craig Fairbrass (A Violent Man; Cliffhanger), Jamie Foreman (Layer Cake), George Russo (Rise of the Footsoldier: Origins), Ben Wilson (Wednesday), Stephen McCole (Vigil), Sadie Frost (Bram Stoker’s Dracula), Tara Fitzgerald (Legend), ArrDee, Josh Myers (Fighting With My Family), Emily Wyatt (The Last Heist), Geoff Bell (RocknRolla), Anthony Skordi (The Offer) and Phil Davis (Vera Drake; Quadrophenia).
Plot:
Pat Tate (Craig Fairbrass) embarks on a rampage to avenge his loyal and trusted footsoldier’s violent death, venturing beyond his comfort zone of Essex into the dark side of ’90s Soho to track down the villain responsible. Set to execute his revenge, Tate will stop at nothing even as the world around him starts to explode…
