Black Eyed Susan is a 2024 sci-fi horror drama film about a man who takes a job testing a new life-size AI erotic android.
Written and directed by Scooter McCrae (Sixteen Tongues; Shatter Dead). Produced by Justin Martell, Maureen McCrae, Aimee Kuge and Seager Dixon.
The Vinegar Syndrome-Not the Funeral Home-Moose + Squirrel production stars Damian Maffei (The Strangers: Prey at Night), Marc Romeo, ex-WWE star Scott Fowler and introduces model Yvonne Emilie Thälker as Susan.
The film features a soundtrack score composed by Italian legend Fabio Frizzi (Manhattan Baby; The Beyond; Zombie Flesh Eaters).

Plot:
Desperate for work, Derek (Damian Maffei) accepts a job replacing his recently deceased friend at a tech startup. Continuing to develop the company’s innovative project means working intimately to “test” Susan (Yvonne Emilie Thälker), a lifelike erotic android meant to receive and appreciate punishment as an integral part of her evolving AI.

Initially hesitant to take part, Derek accepts, but quickly finds himself drawn to Susan’s developing personality and inquisitive nature. As the android’s expanding humanity chips away at him and he learns more about his secret desires, he questions if what he’s been tasked to do – even to a robot – should ever be condoned…
