CRAZY 2 CRAZY Reviews and overview of crime horror

Crazy 2 Crazy is a 2021 crime horror thriller film about what happens when a psychopath meets an all-American family of psychopaths.

Written, produced and directed by Greg Daniel (Carl), the AfterLight Pictures-OOTC Films production stars Marla Malcolm (The Adventures of Paula Peril; Blood Car; 2001 Maniacs), Mark Ashworth (Along Came the Devil 2; Assassinault; Still) and Robert Pralgo (The Dark Red; A Zombie Invasion). Produced by Zeke Flatten.

Plot:
Eugene, a psychotic low-life whose addictions include drugs, alcohol, and carnal pleasure. When he finds his next fix, a beautiful real estate agent named Mary, he finds she’s not what he expected. Eugene is about to find out sometimes crazy meets crazy…

Reviews:
“The writing is not good and the lines aren’t sharp or quotable, just basic and poorly performed in most cases. As for insanity, there is none of that here, sadly. As badly as the movie wants to be edgy and shocking, it never even comes close and in the end, has no real memorable or over the top moments to look back on.” Marc Fusion

“Interestingly, the torture starts late in the game, leaving room to expose the protagonist, and, more importantly, the antagonists. This one is all about the villains and their quirks. For me, this film started 35 minutes in, after an insurmountable introduction. It does get better in acts two and three.” Tales of Terror
