Plot:
Haunted by his tragic past, Jack Carre, a heavily-scarred introvert, volunteers for a Phase I clinical trial of a miraculous new tissue regeneration medication, dubbed “Obsidian.”
Soon, under the watchful surveillance of respected pharmacologist, Doctor James Walsh, Jack and the group of hopeful volunteers start to experience hellish side effects from the drug and soon find that the quest for vanity can be deadly…
Reviews:
“It’s not until the last twenty minutes that we get what we tuned in for and Obsidian’s side effects make themselves known. The result is some messy body horror and monster rampage that must have eaten a large chunk of whatever budget the film had […] At seventy to eighty minutes Obsidian would have worked nicely as a feature. At one hundred and one, it drags badly.” Voices from the Balcony
