Gator Face is a 2026 horror film about a group of friends who are hunted through the swamps by a savage cult that feeds its victims to alligators in the name of an ancient reptilian god.
The movie was written and directed by Padraig Reynolds (Dark Light; Open 24 Hours; The Devil’s Dolls; Rites of Spring).
The Epic Pictures production stars Amariah Dionne, Tabitha Brownstone, Scot Scurlock and Nikolas Kolasinski.
Plot:
On the final day of a Florida beach vacation, a group of friends stumble upon a derelict house hiding a massive alligator and Gator Face, an axe-wielding killer in a grotesque reptile mask. After a brutal attack leaves several friends dead, survivor Jess escapes into the swamp and joins forces with four stranded travellers whose van has broken down nearby.
As Gator Face hunts them through collapsing shacks, flooded marshes, and a maze-like junkyard, the group uncovers the horrifying truth: the killer serves a fanatical swamp cult devoted to an ancient alligator god. Human sacrifices are fed to the gators that lurk beneath the dark water. With their numbers dwindling and the cult closing in, Jess and the survivors must fight their way through the deadly backwoods before they become the next offering…
