‘Made over three years on a nano budget of £12,000, Crying Wolf won’t win any prizes for makeup or special effects and in places the acting is a bit creaky, but it’s a refreshingly funny movie with plenty of slapstick gore and some nice genre in-jokes.’ Simon Ball, The Spooky Isles
“Cheap rubber wolf suits are embellished by crappy CGI in post and it just makes me sad […] Having these people flailing around for no reason would give us something to laugh at. So let’s summarise; an overly convoluted plot brought even lower by unfocused direction, clunky action and poor effects.” Elliot Garlick, UK Horror Scene
“There’s a lot of gratuitous blood and breasts, but there’s no finesse to the story at all… it’s just breasts and blood. For some people, that might just be enough to warrant watching the movie. But the characters and dialog were so poor and I simply didn’t care about anyone and that’s the real shame in Crying Wolf 3D.” Martin Hafer, Influx magazine
“The over-the-top performances shared with the actors won’t put their names in lights and while the fun they seemed to have may have made for a great experience, simply comes across as a painful memory of knowing the potential that Crying Wolf had.” Martyn Wakefield, Bloodguts UK Horror
” …it’s cringingly unfunny […] assorted cast members adopt bad accents, head-scratching costumes, and a sense of comic timing that makes Danny Dyer’s Run For Your Wife seem like the comedic equivalent of Airplane!” Dave Wain, The Schlock Pit
“The saddest instance here is that this really could have been a nice, tightly wrapped production… minus the horrific acting, deplorable CGI, inane plot-direction, and werewolf costuming that would possibly rival something you’d see in a grade-school presentation. However, if you’re a fan of boobs-n-blood, then you very well might find some redeeming qualities in this fondue pot of fecal atrociousness…” Matt Boiselle, Dread Central
” …when we finally get to see the human to werewolf transitions en masse, it’s not half-bad. And I really must give serious props to the actors of Crying Wolf that got naked to ensure the integrity of werewolf folklore (or otherwise). It’s just too bad that a healthy serving of boobs and butts just can’t fix a film this disjointed.” Cherry Bombed, Destroy the Brain
Saucy Sue to the vicar: “Where’s your God now, gobshite!?”
Andy: “And just one more thing. I don’t fight pussies with their cocks hanging out!
