The Season of Passage is a 2022 American science-fiction horror film set on Mars adapted from Christopher Pike‘s 1993 novel of the same name.
Directed and co-produced by Mike Flanagan (Doctor Sleep; Gerald’s Game; Ouija: Origin of Evil; Oculus; Hush) from a screenplay co-written with James Flanagan, the Intrepid Pictures will be co-produced by Trevor Macy. Melinda Nishioka and author Christopher Pike are executive producers and Universal will distribute.
Plot:
Celebrity Doctor Lauren Wagner was involved in a manned expedition to Mars. The whole world admired and respected her. But Lauren knew fear. Inside―voices entreating her to love them. Outside―the mystery of the missing group that had gone before her. The dead group. But were they simply dead? Or something else?
