‘The Imp is back!’
Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2 is a 2022 American comedy horror film about a mischievous Imp that once again causes murderous mayhem.

The belated sequel to the 1987 Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama hit also features cameos from former Scream Queens Kelli Maroney and Michelle Bauer.

Produced by William Butler, Greg Lightner and Mikey Stice. Executive produced by Charles Band.

The Candy Bar Productions-Full Moon Features movie also stars, Jessie Gill, Audrey Neal, Ashton Rogers, Katie O’Neill, Glory Rodriguez, Luka Parente, Nathan Blair and Justin Lupo.

“The babes are back! And so is everyone’s favourite wish-grantin’, murder-lovin’ mischievous gremlin, the Imp! The Tri-Delta sorority house has seen better days, but the girls are intent on gaining some new recruits! With housemother Mama Spider as their guide, the naughty hi-jinks and hilarity begin.

Meanwhile, though, the Bowl-O-Rama bowling alley has had a break-in… and a breakout! With the escape of the magical and murderous Imp, it’s a fight for survival, with only one mysterious girl holding the answers to the riddle of the Imp’s wish!”

“David DeCoteau left over creative differences — one wonders if it wasn’t “Hey, you’re just making the same movie all over again” — and there’s no Linnea, but you know, I was charmed when Brinke and Bauer showed up and I’m equally happy that Brinke was given a chance to direct this. It’s a little over an hour long, which I can appreciate, and while none of it will be as memorable to me as the original…” B&S About Movies

“It’s all just painfully lazy, especially on the part of writer Kent Roudebush. He seems to be operating on the mistaken belief that no viewer will have seen part one, and shamelessly copy-pasting the entire plot will be just fine. There are nods back to the original, except half of these don’t make logical sense e.g. the ghosts have aged 35 years.” Rating: D Film Blitz

” …the movie, as a whole, really does not work. For one, it’s more or less a remake of the original, with almost nothing new added aside from different characters. Also, it says a lot when the puppet from the 1988 original looks better than the puppet here. With this, everything feels flat and generic, with no dynamic look, no interesting camerawork, and shoddy CGI.” Film Nerd

Sorority Babes 2 sports a bright pop art look in keeping with its giddy tone. However, despite the back-of-a-napkin plot — in which another bunch of coeds and frat boys free a diminutive evil genie from a bowling trophy — copying its predecessor in terms of the basics, there’s a pleasing depth to Full Moon regular Kent Roudebush’s surprisingly weighty screenplay.” The Schlock Pit

“It’s a little over an hour long and it fills it comfortably. It walks in the footsteps of the original and certainly not on eggshells. It’s as exploitative as its predecessor. If you have trigger words, avoid this at all costs! Ultimately, the only thing missing, here, is a central cast of modern renowned scream queens.” Tales of Terror

“The best thing I can say about Brinke’s direction is that she paced this sucker like lightning.  She wastes no time getting the Sorority Babes to the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama and once they arrive there, the shit hits the proverbial fan soon after. The scenes where the sorority babes’ wishes backfire are hit-and-miss, but when they do hit, the results, while predictable, are still very funny.” The Video Vacuum
