Medusa’s Venom is a 2023 British supernatural horror film and a sequel to Medusa aka Medusa: Queen of the Serpents (2020).
Directed by Chase Martins, making his film debut, from a screenplay written by Craig McLearie (The Killing Tree; Conjuring the Genie 2; Jack Frost; Pterodactyl; Dragon Fury 2; Amityville Scarecrow 2).
Produced by Scott Jeffrey (Jack Frost; Spider in the Attic; The Mutation; Bats; Bad Nun: Deadly Vows; Cupid; ClownDoll) and Rebecca Matthews (The Curse of Humpty Dumpty 2; Reign of Chaos; Exorcist Vengeance; The Gardener; Pet Graveyard). Executive produced by Samantha Richardson and Matteo Rolleri.
The Proportion Productions-Jagged Edge Productions movie stars Sarah T. Cohen, Becca Hirani, May Kelly, Simon Ellis, Lauren Staerck, Ella Starbuck, Kate Sandison, Keith Eyles, Katiris Cooper, Connor Powles and Osian Dixon.
Plot:
The beast is back and her venom is deadlier than ever. When newcomer Lola (Becca Hirani) is welcomed into Medusa’s circle, she endures a ritual to bring her closer to her new sisters…
Release:
In North America, Medusa will be released by Devilworks on February 14, 2023, with a home entertainment release, day-and-date DVD and Premium TVOD, followed by a full digital release.
Distribution:
Devilworks will also introduce the films to international buyers at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin from February 16, 2023.
