Reviews:
“Savvas D. Michael is quickly making a name for himself, as one of the best directors in the UK. Hitmen has a great style and definitely catches the eye. Some excellent fight scenes and a fun story really top off another great film from Savvas.” Been to the Movies

Hitmen does not revolutionize its genre, nor is it aiming to. However, for folks sick of the gangster picture, Michael may not incite them to sit down and watch this. However, for everyone else, the filmmaker offers a great cast, a beautiful ending, funny dialogue, and a true romance that genuinely pulls at the heartstrings.” 8 out of 10, Film Threat

“Savvas D. Michael’s Hitmen aims to be a tale of revenge and downfall that ends like a Shakespearean tragedy. However, unlike Romeo and Juliet, the tragic loved-themed tale in this film ultimately falls short of delivering on its ambitions. The movie’s ending feels underwhelming and unsatisfying, relying on a deus ex machina gunning down that fails to provide a meaningful resolution to the story.” 2 out of 5, The Indiependent

“For all the slaying, Hitmen isn’t actually a particularly violent film. Yet it does take place in that parallel universe where Al Capone style shoot-outs occur regularly in suburban settings. Provided you’re willing to bridge that reality gap – and judging by the success of Sky’s Gangs of London, plenty of viewers will be – you should be fine.” The Spectator

” … a thrilling ride with an intriguing plot, a great deal of shooting, entertaining dialogue and a collection of great characters. Crucially, the feature looks into the joys of being in love, the pain of loss and the abyss that vengeance leads to. It does feel overlong due to the last third of its running time, which moves slowly, nevertheless, that does not do much damage.” 4 out of 5, UK Film Review
