Inside Man is a 2023 American crime thriller film about an undercover cop – based on the real-life Gambino gangster family.
Directed by, co-produced by and co-starring Danny A. Abeckaser (First We Take Brooklyn; Mob Town; Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story; I Love Us) from a screenplay written by Kosta Kondilopoulos. Also produced by Jon Brewer, Gustavo Nascimento and Kyle Stefanski.
The 2B Films-Wild7Films co-production also stars Emile Hirsch, Jake Cannavale, Lucy Hale, Ashley Greene, Bo Dietl, Vincent Laresca, Greg Finley, Kyle Stefanski, Robert Davi, James Russo, Jeremy Luke, Antje Utgaard, Sid Rosenberg and Emily Levine.
Plot:
A disgraced police detective (Emile Hirsch) seeks redemption by going undercover to expose a violent and bloody crime syndicate. However, as he sinks deeper into the mob and more bodies drop, the price for absolution may be higher than he can afford…
