‘Inspired by the work of H.P. Lovecraft’

Directed and co-produced by Lee Foster from a screenplay co-written by Angela Cavallin, Lee Foster, co-producer Ryan Kobold and Bryan Piggott. Executive produced by Jason Price.

The Kobold Pictures production stars Elvis Stojko, Liam Seamus Murphy, Paige Foskett, Steve Kasan, Jacqueline Godbout, Robert Notman, Aaron Heels, Thomas John Scott, Katie Ryan, Damien Doepping, Michael R Buchanan and Kenneth Bemister.

Plot:
In a perilous journey, two groups of unsuspecting young travellers find themselves caught between the dark forces of The Wild Hunt. As the sinister Duke of Crows unleashes his hound, a vicious drude, a former minister faces an unstoppable force of death. Nowhere is safe…

Reviews:
“This is a creature feature that gets the victims stranded well and gives us a great concept behind the bigger picture. However, the two groups don’t get to spend enough time dealing with the problems they face […] this is an entertaining creature feature that you can enjoy the blood splatter throughout.” 3 out of 5, Movie Reviews 101

“Everything starts out like the typical monster slasher, with some almost stereotypical characters and an easily identifiable final girl. But this is a movie that, while delivering on the shock and violence front, really plays with genre expectations and surprises time and again with unusual twists and turns, throwing genre aficionados off the scent ever so often.” Search My Trash

“While the survivors do finally come together for In Its Wake’s last half hour, the story never really does and a lot is left unexplained. But at least the cast is too busy screaming to deliver much in the way of bad dialogue. It’s too bad they saved almost all the action for the end instead of spreading it out through the film a little better to ward off boredom.” 1.5 out of 5, Voices from the Balcony

Release:
In the US, In Its Wake will be released by Uncork’d Entertainment on a date to be confirmed.

“With great creature effects, fun direction, and a wonderful mesh of religious horror and thrills – much like one of the big films of 2023, The Pope’s Exorcist, In Its Wake is likely going to have many anticipating its release in August.” Keith Leopard, President of Uncork’d Entertainment commented.
