The Nun II is a 2023 American horror film about Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak, the demon nun. The movie is obviously a sequel to The Nun (2018).

Directed by Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It; The Curse of La Llorona) from a screenplay written by Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing and Akela Cooper (M3GAN; Malignant), from a story by Cooper, based on characters created by and Gary Dauberman (IT; Wolves at the Door; Swamp Monkey) and James Wan (The Conjuring; Saw franchises). Produced by Peter Safran and James Wan.
The movie stars Taissa Farmiga (John and the Hole; Run.; We Have Always Lived in the Castle; The Final Girls; Anna aka Mindscape), Jonas Bloquet, Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell and Bonnie Aarons (also in Jakob’s Wife).
