Janin Iblis Neraka is a 2023 Indonesian supernatural horror film about a pregnant young woman whose baby is possessed by an astral creature. The title translates as “Hell Demon Fetus”.
Directed by Joko Nugroho (Punk in Love) from a screenplay co-written with Wahyu Nugroho. Produced by Melia Indriati, Andreas Sullivan and Ridwan Muhlisin.
The movie stars Samuel Rizal (Makmum 2, Pocong The Origin), Aliyah Faizah (Incarnation of the Devil, After School Horror 2), Oce Permatasari (Kafir, Target), Birgi Putri (Bike Boyz, Brata).
Plot:
Randika (Samuel Rizal) and Ranti (Aliyah Faizah), are a young couple who have just moved into the house they just bought together. While settling in their new home, Ranti often experiences strange dreams and events.
These are linked with the appearance of a mysterious black cat and the arrival of a shabby old man named Galang.
Meanwhile, Ranti becomes pregnant. Unfortunately, Randika comes to resent the baby she is carrying due to the presence of an astral creature who wants to have offspring and is assisted by his minions in human form.
They work together to disturb Randika and Ranti’s harmony. Can Randika and Ranti retain their sanity?
