Scurry is a 2024 Australian horror film about a man and a woman trapped underground whilst being menaced by an unseen monstrous threat.
A city under attack from a monstrous threat. Two strangers, a family man with everything to live for and a criminal with nothing to lose, find themselves trapped below ground during the chaos. Badly injured and with limited resources, they must navigate a treacherous, narrowing tunnel in the hope of finding an exit before they bleed out. Fear and desperation consume them as the threat closes in and they soon discover they have more to fear than each other…
Directed by Luke Sparke (Bring Him to Me; Devil Beneath [re-edited version of Red Billabong]; Occupation: Rainfall; Occupation; Red Billabong) from a screenplay written by Tom Evans (Bring Him to Me).
The Sparke Films production stars Jamie Costa (Bring Him to Me; The Cowboy & The Samurai; Robot Riot) and Emalia [sic] (Paper Dolls series).
Producer’s blurb:
“It’s great to be able to delve into horror elements in this claustrophobic film. Tom’s script jumped off the page and it’s been amazing to bring together a tight knit crew to shoot this film in a very unique way. It’s fully immersive being in these tunnels and the camera never cutting – it was a challenge to film for sure!”

Scurry is currently in post-production for a planned release in 2024.
