All-Hallows-Eve

‘Come out and play.’

All Hallows’ Eve is a 2013 American horror anthology film written and directed by Damien Leone (Terrifier; Frankenstein vs. The Mummy) and produced by Ruthless Pictures.

The movie stars Katie Maguire, Mike Giannelli, Catherine A. Callahan, Michael Chmiel, Robyn Kerr and Brandon deSpain.

This film is inspired by the shorts from Damien Leone’s past and features “Art the Clown,” who first made an appearance in the director’s 2008 short about three demons from Hell, The 9th Circle, then went on to star in his Terrifier short in 2011. The latter short then became part of this anthology film.

A sequel, All Hallows’ Eve 2, was released in 2015.

While watching two children on Halloween night, a babysitter finds an old VHS tape in the kids’ trick or treat bag. The tape features three tales of terror, all linked together by a murderous clown. As the night goes on strange things begin to occur in the house. It isn’t long before the babysitter learns the horrifying truth… the maniacal clown is slowly working his way into her reality.

Reviews:

” … a thoroughly entertaining and disturbing flick with a very creepy new horror villain in Art the clown.  I look forward to seeing more supernatural appearances with Art in the future. All Hallows’ Eve reminds me that the quote by silent film legend Lon Chaney Sr. still holds true…”There is nothing on earth more frightening than a clown after midnight.” Michael Juvinall, Horror Society

“If nothing else, if Leone plays his cards right, he may have created the next big horror icon in Art the Clown. People love a creepy clown, and folks, Art is the scariest goddamn clown I’ve seen since Pennywise.” Tales from the Batcave
