Plot:

Reviews [click links to read more]:

“This low budget flick looks cinematic as hell! And the look complimented the slick special effects provided by Corey McCauley. The effects are pretty dam cool, especially as the movie moves into its final act and the house is besieged by what can only be called a localized Aurora Borealis. And once the main baddie is revealed I have to say that I was impressed.” Arrow in the Head

MSTK pays homage to the likes of Home Alone, The Babadook and Stranger Things all mashed together. You are in for a family-friendly fright with My Soul To Keep! Part supernatural, part horror, this expertly unsettling and tragic film will take your inner child on a nightmarish adventure!” The Blood Shed

“It’s mesmerizing and captivating. It screams to your inner child. It’s what a monster movie should be, full of wonder and imagination, and it will scare the living shit out of you. My Soul to Keep is an absolute terrifying masterpiece!” Morbidly Beautiful

“The special effects are mostly CGI but it’s used smartly and to good effect. Frequently we see what looks like smoke or shadows creeping about. It’s atmospheric and effective as well as budget-conscious. My Soul To Keep is a kids film that I’m not ashamed to say made me jump. It doesn’t play down to kids either. It’s a scary movie and it delivers those scares as well as an ending I didn’t see coming.” Voices from the Balcony
