House Squatch is a 2022 American comedic creature film about the titular creature which has taken up residence in a home for sale.
Directed by Anthony Polonia (Sister Krampus; ZillaFoot) and Mark Polonia (Sharkula; Camp Murder; Shark Encounters of the Third Kind; Return to Splatter Farm; Bride of the Werewolf; Ghost of Camp Blood; Bigfoot vs. Zombies; Feeders; plus many, many more) from a screenplay written by the latter.
The Polonia Brothers Entertainment production stars Ken Van Sant, Jeff Kirkendall, Tim Hatch, Titus Himmelberger, Yolie Canales and Jamie Morgan.
Plot:
Shadyville is plagued by sightings of a hairy creature known as the “House Squatch”. Locals are panicked and the area’s powerful real estate firm is pressuring the local sheriff to stop the creature, who has taken up residence in one of their homes for sale. It’s a battle of wits and wackiness as the town mobilizes to drive the creature back to the forest…

“I enjoyed Anthony’s first feature, ZillaFoot (2019) with its evocations of the old Japanese giantsuitmation monster movies, but found House Squatch more routine. Fortunately, it’s got the talents of two of the most talented members of The Polonia Brothers’ stock company: Ken Van Sant as yet another Sheriff; and Jeff Kirkendall as his weird, Robert Shaw-esque Bigfoot hunter buddy. In the US, House Squatch was released by SRS Cinema on limited edition Blu-ray in mid-May 2022. Extras include a directors’ audio commentary and SRS trailers. It is available to pre-order
