Astonishing Tales of Terror: Rocktapussy! is a 2022 Canadian comedy horror film about a group of everyday heroes who encounter the fight of their lives in the deep mines of Northern Ontario where they unwittingly awaken an ancient giant octopus.

Black Fawn Distribution has acquired the Canadian home video rights for Astonishing Tales of Terror: Rocktapussy! The horror-adventure-comedy is set for release this fall. The film will receive an exclusive VHS retro-designed slipcase along with reversible cover art as part of its Blu-ray release.

In addition to Black Fawn Distribution’s acquisition, Nicely Entertainment will oversee the film’s release in the United States as the company expands into the genre film arena. The film will receive an exclusive VHS retro-designed slipcase along with reversible cover art as part of its Blu-ray release on September 27, 2022. The Blu-ray will also include a special Behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of the film.
