Reviews:
“Horror comedy with the meter leaning comedy. I could see myself watching this every year around Halloween. Moseley and Hodder both turn in great, unexpected performances, but the real heart of the film is the wide supporting cast, and the new fun costumes that should come out of this.” ★★★½ Cyanide Rush
“Lots of over-the-top gore and unnecessary violence but that’s what I expected going into it. I hope this gets picked up by a big company and gets distributed everywhere. Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley were amazing as usual. However; I feel the supporting cast is what made this movie great.” Khorowski
“The story feels like it could go in a couple of different directions and the unstable figure of Farmer Sam shows a calm side throughout. We get two horror icons leading the movie, which helps give us a reason to celebrate along with the events. Hayride to Hell is an excellent Halloween experience.” ★★★★ Movie Reviews 101
“It doesn’t really help that most of the deaths are dull, low-energy affairs, with the vandals from the first act being killed off for real as the hayride goes by. It’s not until the last fifteen minutes that director Dan Lantz (Bloodlust Zombies; Bloodrunners) manages to give the film any kind of energy. Before that, it just plods along from bloodless death to bloodless death at a pace more likely to kill from boredom than from fright.” ★ Voices from the Balcony
