Reviews:
It’s What’s Inside was freaking electrifying. One of the most original, inventive, and entertaining films I’ve seen in recent memory.  This is writer/director Greg Jardin’s first feature but he’s demonstrated he’s a major talent to watch.  I don’t know how this will play outside of the fest but I was dazzled.” ★★★★½ David Chen

“It’s quite the thrill ride, and sometimes its ambition goes a little too far […] But discerning audiences will roll with it […] There will, of course, be those who say it absolutely is the dictionary definition of incomprehensible. But if you like your brain to be whipped, tossed, and scrambled rather than just lightly pan-fried, ignore them: this is the movie for you.” Deadline

” …you’ll want to see it without knowing anything about “what’s inside of it” until the lights go down and the film begins. It’s a thrilling, hilarious, clever, raucous, ingenious sci-fi horror comedy from filmmaker Greg Jardin. Wait until you find out what’s in the suitcase.” 10/10, First Showing

“If you like horror, if you like thrillers or mysteries, if you like a splash of gore in your comedy, or if high-concept is your thing, see It’s What’s Inside when it is released. Go in cold and avoid trailers. I had a criminal amount of fun watching this ingenious movie and believe that it’s the first great horror-comedy of 2024.” 8 out of 10, Horror Buzz

It’s What’s Inside seems destined for some cult renown. Older genre fans may be turned off by how vacuous the characters are, but that’s the point. Jardin is satirizing the self-absorbed, wealthy zennial […] put this one on your radar of movies to see, but do yourself a favour and try not to read too much about it before it comes out.” JoBlo

“Yall aren’t ready for this one. Clue meets Suspiria meets Bodies Bodies Bodies meets [redacted].” Jonathan Walls

“Jardin’s rapid-fire dialogue and quick camera cuts accelerate the feeling that you’re being whipped around uncontrollably. As each character reveals their ulterior motives and sheds the persona they’ve constructed, It’s What’s Inside becomes really tricky to keep track of […] As for the cast, all do a terrific job in surprisingly rich roles that require them to know every single character intimately.” ★★★ Punch Drunk Critics

“Jardin impresses as a director as much as a writer, turning what could have been a jumble of big swings into a brilliantly coherent and cohesive piece of genre filmmaking. His directorial style erupts out of the gate feeling fully formed, particularly when he finds a creative, and hilarious, way to visualize the way that gossip goes on to inform its own mythology. This is just one of many genuinely laugh-out-loud moments informed by clever writing and pitch-perfect performances. Silver Screen Riot

It’s What’s Inside f*cking rules. A wild, completely original concept that’s tantalizingly creepy, propulsive and unexpectedly hysterical. Really cool visuals, fun sequences and a bunch of good twists. Some similarities to Bodies Bodies Bodies and Talk to Me but this is its own freaky animal. Go into as blind as possible.” Zach Shevich

“Very fun, slightly messy, and perhaps slightly undercooked in the scripting department. Fortunately, I find those issues to be very forgivable when a film is genuinely creative and high concept like It’s What’s Inside. Go into this as blind as possible and just enjoy the ride.” ★★★★ Zachary
