Last Looks is a 2021 comedic crime mystery film about an ex-cop whose quiet life ends when a private eye recruits him to investigate a murder.
Directed by Tim Kirkby (Action Point) from a screenplay written by Howard Michael Gould based on his own novel of the same name. Produced by Brad Feinstein (Bruised), Andrew Lazar (American Sniper), Steven Shainberg (Rupture) and Christina Weiss Lurie (Persuasion).
The Romulus Entertainment production stars Charlie Hunnam, Mel Gibson, Lucy Fry, Rupert Friend, Morena Baccarin, Jacob Scipio and Clancy Brown.
Plot:
Charlie Waldo (Charlie Hunnam) is a disgraced ex-LAPD cop who left the force and now lives a life of simplicity and solitude deep in the woods. Alistair Pinch (Mel Gibson) is an eccentric English actor who spends his days drunk on the set of his TV show. When Pinch’s wife Monica is found dead, he is the prime suspect and Waldo is convinced to come out of retirement to investigate what happened.
The case finds Waldo contending with gangsters, Hollywood executives and preschool teachers, all in pursuit of clearing Pinch’s name, or confirming his guilt…

In the USA, RLJE Films is planning a day-and-date theatrical and On-Demand release for Last Looks in February on a date to be announced.
