‘A touch of immortality is a death sentence’
Skinford: Death Sentence is a 2023 Australian horror film about a young criminal who finds a woman that bestows immortality when anyone touches her. This is a re-edited (?) version of a movie released with limited distribution in 2017 as Skinford.
Directed by Nik Kacevski from a screenplay co-written with Tess Meyer. Produced by George Kacevski, Tess Meyer, Tom Pope, Christopher Seeto and Enzo Tedeschi.
The 2Good Productions-Deadhouse Films movie stars Joshua Brennan, Charlotte Best, Goran D. Kleut, Roger Sciberras, Edward McKenna, Lara Schwerdt, Ric Herbert, Georgia Scott, Joshua Morton, Shae Beadman, Taryn Beadman, Alison Benstead and Kaitlyn Boyé.
Plot synopsis:
James ‘Skinny’ Skinford (Joshua Brennan) had a simple plan: steal and flip a mysterious truck to make a quick buck and save his ailing father. However, as fate would have it, things take a horrifying turn and Skinny finds himself in serious trouble…
While being forcibly made to dig his own grave, he accidentally stumbles upon the burial ground of a woman (Charlotte Best) who had been buried alive and to his astonishment, she possesses the extraordinary ability to bestow immortality upon others.
Yet, this seemingly miraculous gift comes with a devastating consequence. Being close to her is akin to a death sentence, and Skinny’s perception of life will never be the same again…

Release date:
The film was released online, on DVD and on Blu-ray in Germany in May. In the UK, Skinford Death Sentence will be available on Digital on July 24, 2023, from Reel 2 Reel Films. In the US, the film will be released on digital platforms and VOD on July 18, 2023.
