Reviews:
“The whole idea of a hardcore crime picture involving the lifting of trading cards should be enough to get a pulse going in Detective Knight: Rogue, but Drake isn’t strong enough of a moviemaker to pursue pure oddity. He’s too comfortable with formula and repetition to challenge himself with this tale of revenge…” 1.5 out of 5 stars, Blu-ray.com

“Certainly one of the better Bruce Willis low-budget action movies, this one still suffers from confusing bits, as well as an uncomfortable vacancy where its star ought to have been […] The story is decently constructed, with enough twists and turns to keep the sturdy, interesting characters moving through it with a semblance of logic.” 2 out of 5 stars, Common Sense Media

” …this film has nothing new to offer us. However, it has some interesting characters and emotional moments that can be endured for one hour and forty-five minutes. However, the screenplay never gives them a chance to come out of their shell. As a result, the stereotypes are blatantly followed, and the film never goes beyond the surface level.” High on Films

“This movie is at least the best produced and directed out of any of Drake’s collaborations with Willis in spite of the flaws it does have. Detective Knight: Rogue isn’t a great crime film but after a groggy first act, it does give way to some cool crimes, decent characters, and a degree of novelty given the holiday it eventually uses when it’s done being cliché.” 3.5 out of 5 stars,  Voices from the Balcony

“I enjoyed this, and I’m hopeful those of you who loved Heat will like this. Detective Knight: Rogue does have a hint of Heat about it, certainly in the dialogue and also in the armed robberies […] Three stars seems high for this but I think it could quickly catch on amongst crime film fans, and I also feel some reviews may be a bit harsh.” Which Film
